I don't see a name anywhere on this banjo, just a star on the headstock
I think we're looking at an early Slingerland but I'm happy to be overruled.
A more complete photo portrait of the pot, outside & inside, including the neck brace would help. Slingerland usually stamped their instruments on the dowel rod. What is the head diameter?
