I recently posted my 1974 Gibson RB250 here in the classifieds. Based on information I have found online, I think its asking price is at the lower end of the range, but you only know the asking and not the selling price.
I’m looking for some feedback from experienced buyers/sellers on the ad, price, description and photos.
I have purchased a banjo previously here on the Hangout and since I knew I wanted a specific Recording King model, I didn’t need a lot of description. I also bought it from an instrument dealer so it was a good experience. It went great, happy with that banjo (and thanks @John Boulding for the setup) , however it’s not a great data point to help create a useful ad.

Too low?
That's really none of your business!
Telling someone their price is too high or too low, is just plain rude. Comments on an asking price should be done in a private message or email!
Stay in your lane, sir!

Well.,..you can take that get tough stuff somewhere else. Just respect the man's asking price! If you are that worried about it send the man a private message. Most folks on here refrain from making judgments about price in public! Why don't you follow suit!
By the way.,.. what makes you an expert on the prices of RB 250s? Especially when numbers are all over the map right now!
Have a good day!

Hi Mark,
Charlie Campbell requested feedback concerning price, "I’m looking for some feedback from experienced buyers/sellers on the ad, price, description and photos.".
I think that banjobob36 should have supported his statement with what he believes to be a more appropriate price with reasoning and supporting information.
Cheers.

I think you have put together a fine ad, at an attractive price that should attract interest.
Good point mentioning that the original rim and tone ring come with it.
Good photos. I might only suggest a well list photo of the interior showing the new rim and tone ring.
I've waited months sometimes waiting for a nibble on a pre-war Mastertone, and 1960s Vega, 1920s Vega Senator, etc. I asked folks for their feedback and was told "be patient". If someone's interested a slightly high price won't scare them off, they'll talk to you about a potential offer.
Cash buyers are a little rarer than folks who want to put together a trade, so again, be patient. "Bump" the ad every now and then to be sure it doesn't get lost.
A video clip showing the banjo being played always helps I think. This thing should sound great now, I think.
Good luck.
