Sitting in my hotel just down the street from your old stomping grounds ….. I-80 just the next exit down from Sapp Brothers??. Getting ready to go to the Brass Armadillo Antique Mall to see if I can find an old 1930’s Granada for a few hundred bucks. You know these old Nebraska farmers bought nice things after a good year.

If you can't find one at a Brass Armadillo, it doesn't exist. ;-) We used to go to that antique mall often. Brad

Brad ....... I have been going there since the mid 90's when I built a golf course about 20 miles away just over the Platte River. I think some of the same items are still there.??. Now it is more of a glorified yard sale with 99% of the items from the 1950's or later ...... very few real antiques. But that is about what all antique malls have turned into. I did not see a single item I would have taken home with me.

That is how our Wichita antique malls are nowadays. But "we" are not the target market anymore. ??
BanjoLink John, are you familiar with, Eagle Bluff Golf Club Chattanooga, Tn? It closed around 2019. I've never seen another course like it,

I have worked on a golf course in Chattanooga but not familiar with Eagle Bluff. Reading about it, it seems like it was closed for several years and someone from Minnesota has bought it and plans on renovating the clubhouse and golf course. It apparently is part of a residential neighborhood, so it seems like the homeowners would have a vested interest in making sure that it remains a viable facility. I'll be glad to come up and do the renovations to the course![]()
