I'm learning to work on banjos and my luthier mentor is running low in the spikes he has in his shop. The last time he bought a pack, he got them from a long-since closed hobby shop in our area, so we have to find a new source. What brands/stores/websites sell good quality spikes these days? We're looking for a whole little bag of them, not just a handful.

Sam,
I sell bags of 500 for $20. If you would like to see samples, send me a personal message with your address and I will mail you a bag of 10 spikes in a letter envelope.
Being a micro business in a rural area, I find I use about 100 spikes a year. You being in an urban area, you will likely install a higher number.
