This would be an improvement over some of the emails I get. There was an article positing that poor grammar and the incredible nature of some spam emails is intentional. The theory is that the bad guys want to weed out people they think are too smart to fall for their scams. Should we be insulted that they keep targeting banjo players???
We mods do the best we can to keep them out. We check new members every day, sometimes several times a day. Luckily, we have many members who notify us if they receive what they consider a spam e-mail and we check it out and either agree and lock or leave open. Often, we can't tell from the sparse information on their home page or their IP or their e-mail address.
I have a sticky called Scammers Locked Out Each Day which lists the members we know are scammers so be sure to check that list before you do business with one that sounds fishy. Usually the language is not correct or they want you to pay by pay pal Friends and Family or want to send you a cashier's check that will end up being bogus.

I dunno Kam.... my experience is that this stuff is so good I no longer take a chance with other brands... will go without if I have to. And as a bonus, IF I eat the whole can, I get 100% of my daily recommended shot of saturated fats. A win-win or what!!

I agree.
The only problem with postal money orders is that (unless it's changed) I believe the limit is $1,000. So for a good instrument it might take several of 'em.
Although, if you post an ad even mentioning payment by U.S. Postal money order over at the mandolincafe, your ad will be deleted...

Hold. The. Phone. I was in Walmart t'other day and noticed the regular price of their store brand luncheon meat ["Great Value"] was about the same as the best sale price I've noticed for Co-Op "Centsibles," so I figured "...well maybe" and forked over $2.69. I haven't compared the nutritional (?) info, but taste-wise, if it's not equal to Co-Op, the diff is negligible. Nice to know I have options.
[Now, aren't you glad you didn't ask.
