Maplecraft began bending rims 1926. When I arrived on the scene in 1987, we began revitalizing that segment of our business. By the early 1990's we were again steadily supplying rims to the trade, and building prototypes and one-offs for many small scale builders. When we set on a new, non-standard project, we often built multiples even when a builder asked for only one or two pieces. Like a Vermonter does, I saved many of the extras, outliers, and inexplicables. I was trying to clean-off "the cart" last week and I'm starting to post some of these outliers for sale.

Lots of choices on 11 and 12 inch rims from several makers. Any 8 or 13, 14,16,20 inch rims?

How many of those other makers have been making banjo rims for a century, Ill bet most are about a decade. They would love to make what you want but money talks, how many do you want to buy, no company a century old is going to spend a thousand dollars on tooling for one rim, if they have a commercial order the sky is the limit, remember they do more than banjo rims, they are a major supplier to the drum industry and make an endless selection of sizes for drum makers
