Over the past few years I have spent several hundred hours making my own Dave Hum (1966-2012) style backing tracks. I am not one-fifth the musician as Dave was, but like Dave says, “Music is not a competition.” So far, I have uploaded 309 completed backing tracks. These are not copyrighted (although the original song may be), so you are freely welcome to use my backing tracks anyway you want. No credit need be given. Consider them yours. Enjoy!

Also, Dave's tracts are far superior to mine, which are still available from his family. They're pricey, but worth every penny. If you check online what the going price is for someone to make a backing track for you, they average about $150 to $200. So, for about $12.50 each for Dave's tracks, I humbly think they're worth every penny. The money all goes to help his family.
I thank God for Dave Hum and his musical legacy. I cease to be amazed at his musical genius, creativity, positive attitude and performance energy in lieu of suffering from myeloma cancer before he passed in 2012. The man is dear to my heart. God bless.
