My name is Tim Twiss, and play the Early Banjo style. This means Stroke Style primarily, but certainly overlaps the Guitar, or Fingerstyle of play. Anyway, it is not a real popular style and has a very small niche. In the spirit of preserving and advancing that style, I just opened a simple free web page to jumpstart a player into this style. It is a culmination of resources acquired over the years. Just putting it out there. A collection of videos and pdf downloads. And I am available for repertoire recommendations and downloads.
Go to https://timtwiss.com/ and you will find it there. Perhaps anybody might also share if they have tried this style or are familiar with it.

I have been playing this style for going on 3yrs now. I love the tunes because they sound like banjo pieces rather than another fiddle tune played on a banjo. You stuff on YouTube has been very helpful. It is clear, well played and my first stop when looking for examples. I have been working with Weidlichs books and am just about thru them. Thanks for all you have done.

Look forward to diving in.

Love your Early Banjo Solos book, particularly the original composition Copper's Minor!

Really helped to expand my technique.
