Lovely old hymn; a staple of New Orleans funeral parades.
Another one is "Just a Little While to Stay Here," performed beautifully by Geoff Muldaur in drop-D tuning.

Tim Jumper I’ll check it out, Tim. I remember learning “Mole’s Moan” back in the day,, open G tuning if I remember right.

You're right -- "Mole's Moan" in open-G. I learned it from a Tom Rush album.
It works on the banjer, too!

Speaking of Tom Rush and fat bass-string notes -- his composition "Rockport Sunday" has plenty of them, down to C, I think, along with some very pretty high-string bends suggestive of seagulls' cries.
I spent more than a few hours lifting and dropping the tone-arm while figuring that one out!
