I had a recent thread trying to ID a bridge, which looks pretty definitively to be a Lawson bullfrog bridge. While not identical to yours, the black dot + the general design is similar. You can compare yours with mine: banjohangout.org/topic/407421

Is your bridge straight? The one I have has a serious curve to it. That would answer Owen's question.
I really enjoy my bridge of his. I took it off the banjo it came with and it's really made another one come to life. Great evenness in tone and power across strings and up the neck.
