While watching the Olympics has anyone else been struck by how the Olympic TV logo would a great start to an inlay pattern? you could use the big outside brackets as fret block, enlarge the Olympic Rings for another, use the peacock feathers and take the fig leafs (?) at the ends of the brackets and use them for a single inlay and/or double them up on one fret.

Other than treading on someone's copyrights, I love this idea! We need this kind of inspiration in modern banjo decoration (if you're into that sort of thing).
I'm impressed by the Deering Tenbrooks inlay, the Tony Trischka Clipper models inlay and several others. I would think bluegrass pickers might be open minded about some of the really lovely Paramount inlays.
Maybe Deering could run a competition for graphic designers?
Personally I've always been interested in a Greek inspired inlay/engraving theme.
Hey, we can dream...

You'll be too late then.
'My' guys took the final last night.
During his 2 blistering finishing laps, Jens van 't Wout had lap times of 7.8
My absolute peak ever was 12.3 (in my -very- younger days, not even qualifying for the club team)
Now I'll be happy if, at all, I'll crack the 15.0 barrier. Still happy after all these (50) years.
