Got a speeding ticket yesterday.
Got let off with a warning, three previous, so, a well-deserved reminder to obey the Rules.
Well-deserved, but rather expensive.
And, after the very polite police officer handed me my ticket, I asked
"Oh, wait! Can I just inform you that I'm a Sovereign Citizen, and drive away?"
His reply: "You can try."
I already HAD my ticket, but I've seen MANY cop camera videos, where the person who is behind the steering wheel of a vehicle which was moving on a public road was VERY uncooperative, and insists they weren't "driving", but they WERE "traveling".
And it quite often ends with the person in cuffs.
I've seen a couple videos where the cops (and the Sov Cits insist on a Supervisor showing up) will quote some Supreme Cort decision) where it was decided that the person behind the wheel MUST show identification, when requested by the cops.
Don't remember the name of the case.
I'd call it "The State Law v Some stuff on the Internet".
So I am asking, and you can privately message me:
Are any of the thousands of OutHangers here in the USA "Sovereign Citizens" or Flat Earthers?
Do you "travel" while behind the steering wheel, without license, insurance, and registration?
