One hundred and thirty-seven THOUSAND would roughly make up for 1 banjoplayer on every 150 Dutch(wo)men. I think such an average would easily outclass any banjoplayers density anywhere in the world. ![]()
Don't get me wrong, The Netherlands are a very special place, but I haven't noticed banjoplayers on every street corner so far.
OK, I've played in the neighbourhood where I spent my youth, but it was an exception...
Speaking of export, I'm still anxiously awaiting this trans atlantic free trade treaty, but I guess we'll have to wait a bit longer yet....

Here is a fine Dutch picker who doesn't just pick tulips. I was surprised to look up his bio and discover he wasn't in the good ol usa.
