Working out in the sun for 50 yrs will do it.
I've had a bunch cut out.
More to go . Just haven't addressed it yet.

Good luck Fig.

I told the Doc if they keep cuttin' all the ugly parts offa me there won't be nothin' left to cremate. They can send my mortal remains off to eternity in a toaster oven.

I think I’m at 5 now, squamous cell—which is worse than basal cell but definitely preferable to melanoma. They’ll likely find one or two more when I get checked next in February.

Al, I am up to four. For twenty years I have been seeing a skin doctor twice a year. Between the cutouts and the burn or freeze offs my arms and shoulders are quite the sight if I get a little sun. I have not worn shorts or short sleeve shirts in twenty years either.
In 3 months I go back to have a biopsy under a red streak on a fingernail. Sheezzzz!

If he keeps on at this rate he will be completely new in a few months time.

We have a saying for this in the UK, it's ''Trigger's Broom''.... Trigger was a character in a really famous TV comedy series called Only Fools and Horses.  He was a road sweeper and not very bright.

Ok....
The Games ah'foot....

No pinned tooth today pushed off for a month..due to some kind of infection at the root...

2nd Dr visit today...to the transplant folks...
The conclusion is it is on of the anti rejection drugs that is contributing to the skin cancers..
Basil cell..n squeamish cell ones...
Soooo....
That anti rejection drug is now stopped totaly...
There are 2 types that I take..
So I am still on the second...

So now gotta get me blood checked a bunch more as so they can see how it do..in this situation...

Nevah a dull moment...

Fwiw...
I think i will do fine... :0)

I feel your pain, guys. I had six or seven scrape and burn procedures. Then four Mohs jobs. Honestly after awhile it got down to which side of my face or neck gets done so I can sleep at night. It’s more of an inconvenience. My motto is now, it’s the “new normal”
For those of you reading this thread, get it done. It’s not that bad

Good luck to you fig. I lived in Albuquerque for 9 years (dubbed the skin cancer capital of the world, though you don't see that sign driving in). I have had a few issues, since sunscreen wasn't exactly part of my daily routine. Screening is part of my annual physical now.
