The song was written by Sheldon Harnick and appeared in the musical Almanac in 1953 according to a thread on the mudcat.org website. It is in the Rise Up Singing Songbook. You can find sheet music under the title "The Merry Little Minuet." You need to go beyond the first page of the sheet music to find the lyrics "They're rioting in Africa . . ." as the first page is an introduction as it appeared in the musical. Here is a link from Sheet Music Plus but it is available from others. https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/en/product/merry-little-minuet-from-she-loves-me-23051135.html I hope this helps you.
It has taken me a while to tab an arrangement since I wasn't sure what playing style would be most welcome. It is clawhammer-friendly but can serve as a source for up-picking as well. The tab contains the melody with some brushes. The chords shown above the tab are for backup by guitar, mandolin, etc. The banjo plays the chords only when the note entries show actual fingering for the chord.
