Anyone know a source for a Deering Sierra Mahogany 5-string? Tried my usual partners in crime and they are currently out of stock. Sweetwater has them but prefer to purchase a banjo from a source that knows something about banjos, and not sure that applies with SW. None of Deering's other 'certified dealers, listed on their website has one either. Any help appreciated.

Looks like Maple Street Guitars in Atlanta has one in stock.
I have one to sell if you are interested in a nice used one.
I know Music Outlet in Sevierville sells them and they know banjos. Also, out of stock but maybe you can get one on backorder and wait?
Sweetwater is an excellent retailer. I always advocate to buy from your local store if they have what you want. But when they don't, Sweetwater is an excellent source. Their setup and inspection process is great. They communicate well and, if there is a problem, they make it right. Seems to be a lot more hands on than Musician's Friend.

I know. Bought several guitars and amps from them, just not sure they can install 5th-string spikes. Might have to talk to my sales rep and see. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for all the replies. I did find a Mahogany Sierra from a vendor I had used before; Ross Nickerson @banjoteacher.com. Just looked in the wrong area of their website yesterday before I posted requesting help from the HO group. The wait begins.
