Been working out Classical Gas in its original key until I saw here folks play it in G minor and capo up 2 frets. Which way is easier?
I never retune to Gm for playing in Am. I play all that from uncapoed G major tuning.
Besides, there is an excellent tab for CG that way...

Where is the tab located ?
There are 2 tabs in the tab archives but one is just chords, the other evidently at one time I posted and I don't particularly like it, either. You might check them out and see if either would help you.
Classical Gas has a cult like following. Tom Adams recorded it on banjo, he may be able to answer your question. I believe he has published tab for it.
