Thank you Emiel and GMB I’m happy you liked it! :-)
The banjo I’m playing it ‘s a prewar tb3 from the late 20ies, of course is an archtop: I don’t have the money to buy an original prewar Gibson flathead… ;-)
The instrument is completely original except for the tailpiece (that is a Kershner from the same period) it has tube and plate flange. I love this banjo also if I don’t play it so often (my other tenor is open back and light weight so it is much more confortable to bring around) I usually tune the Gibson GDAE and love the way it sounds with this lowered tuning…

It's a fine banjo! I like the Gibson archtops… Tube-and-plate is great.
That's a winner Paola, loved the drop tuning and your close harmonies ..... your little finger's hard at work!.
My Dad used to wrap a 3 inch nail to my index finger to put it out of action, so I could'nt use it, which meant I had to use my little finger, and that soon became, one of my strongest fingers.
Thanks Paola, beaut playing. ...... Don.

Thank you Don, I'm happy you liked it... it's a very nice composition and I think that sounds very well on banjo :-)
I never did specific exercize for my finger's extention, I just play the music I love, if there are some hard fingerings to do I practice it a bit and play, but I do not consider myself a skilled banjoist... and I'm lucky to have big hands! ;-)
