I received the sad news today: Pete Atkins of Ohsweken, Ontario (Canada) passed away on October 8.
Pete was an amazing banjo player and a great guy that I looked up to a lot. It was, and still is, a privilege to have known him and even was able to play with him.
I have fond memories about he and I playing together, him playing 3-finger and myself playing clawhammer style
RIP Pete, we're missing you man!

My condolences, , I didn’t know of him. The ones I remember from Six Nations were Randy and Rocky Hill, and Shin Van Every.
