Geez, I dunno, Al.  When I look for a campground, coffee doesn't make my list. The "big four" IMNSHumbleO are : mature trees / water of some sort [lake, river, etc.] close by / fire / a clothes line.... and ya gotta pretty much have 3 of the 4 as the basis for success*.  But. but, but, I only see mature trees?!?!?

We camped Thurs. and Friday, [3 out of 4; no body of water  ] but the forecast for the next two weeks looks quite unpromising temperature-wise, so that very likely is it for this season.

Coffee is as essential as campfire and beer.

Need to put coffee more than once on your list so it doesn't get overlooked.

The only thing that smells better than coffee in the campsite is coffee and bacon frying.

I dunno Steve. I'll go along with you on the smell of bacon.... but with my health (?)  in mind*, when it comes to eating I'll take bologna or 

 ... with Co-op brand topping the other luncheon meats that I've tried.

Alas "happy wife, happy life" rears it's head and I settle (?) for pancakes or fried eggs, potatoes, ham or occasionally corned beef hash.   And to complicate the matter, while I make pretty well all our breakfasts at home, when we camp, my lovely and talented assistant takes over.  [i.e. Leave well enough alone??]

* could very well be tongue-in-cheek ... I haven't checked the nutrient info for some time.

I had that panic this morning too, but found another brick of coffee hidden in the pantry. Life is good again!!!
