Howdy - I have an RB1 ‘92 with a Davis gull inlay rb1 neck and Huber vintage ring. Having played an Ome Ikon and loved its wide Radius neck I am thinking to get a Granada style 33mm wide radius neck made for it. As I’m in Uk thinking Prucha. Thoughts on this wise decision and any suggestions please! Thx, Tim

If the Ome Ikon truly 'speaks' to you, listen. Get the Ome.
When an instrument 'speaks' to an individual, that individual should listen. It doesn't happen often.

If you have your heart set on a wide, radiused neck, and you are in the UK: Prucha would be a fine resource, indeed. Capek, too. That's probably what I would do, were I in your shoes (and FWIW wide, radiused necks are my jam, too). It would be great to get an Ikon or an off-the-shelf neck from Gold Tone, but I understand the current difficulties in sourcing from the US. You have one vote, here, in favor of your plan. Good luck!

Thanks Jon, Gold Tone told me they expect to have Ikon necks later in the Autumn, I don’t know if Greg Rich will influence their production line, probably I think. I had a Prucha, best neck I’ve ever played, Stelling were good too. My own made necks for pre war conversions tend to have no finish other than stain and beeswax for super smooth playing.
