Apparently, not a single BHO member was raptured yesterday. I guess it really is the devil's instrument!
I'm old enough now to have lived through at least 5 or 6 so-called end days, hellfire and brimstone, rapture, whatever you wish to call it. I'm still here. Seems everything else is, too. Nothing has changed nor will it.
Any time you hear exact predictions of this-or-that, especially in religious settings or context, turn and walk away. You'll be just fine.

If it is now ok to discuss religion and mock Christian beliefs, can I go ahead and say what I really think about politics too?
This isn't really what I consider religious and it's okay to have a little fun and a few laughs about something is so unlikely to happen right now. No one is mocking Christian beliefs.
Calm down and don't get upset, please.

no one was truly dissing or advocating a religion--just remarking on current events, looking for humor among the masses ,that used to enjoy public hangings, --
the rules around here are more like sheriff andy not letter of the law barney--
my opinion and i ask no agreement-nor likes -nor subscriptions--
no problem that I tend to see--unless some dummy comes trying to save us or another dummy comes-- shooting the one trying to saves us

I appreciate your concern for my emotional state, but I can assure you I am quite calm and not the least bit upset.
There are a number of posts above that are clearly mocking religious beliefs. While some of them are obvious attempts at humor, the majority of them fall rather short. Don't quit your day jobs, guys.

Jon has a fair point.
What exactly would you consider religious if this isn't?
The post is literally mocking some peoples' religious beliefs.
Please don't tell him to calm down/not get upset. (that's gaslighting, not moderating)
Surely there is some distinction to be made between mocking belief in the Rapture in a general sense and remarking (if a bit snidely/sarcastically) upon the objective fact that it failed to occur yesterday. That latter was a belief, and one unequivocally disproven. I hope I'm not breaking a rule by saying that, but that's the truth.
