You wanna say "that ain't bluegrass," I'll say "Yeah, but it's a beautfiful fiddle tune, and beautiful fiddle tunes are part of bluegrass, and he's playing it with two fingers better than most of us could do it with three."

If you go to a bluegrass jam and they give you a hard time playing two finger style I would say you're in the wrong jam.
Personally, I would be intrigued.
Two finger picking in any style amazes me. 3 finger must be easier.
