Looking for advice re value. It has a bronze tone ring, Scruggs tuners, railroad spikes on 7,8 and 9th frets. Quilted, blond maple body and maple neck. Bought from Andy Banjo, serviced by Jimmy Moon in Glasgow before he retired. Hard and soft cases. It has decorative painted flowers on the head but that can easily be changed. I have absolutely looked after her, but just not playing her at all and sitting out as an ornament..no use for such a beautiful instrument. Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance folks.
I also have a beautiful travel ‘tranjo’ banjo I might sell. I imported it from the USA some years ago…again in mint condition. Any idea resale value. I don’t plan on giving these instrument away for peanuts..I value them too much. ????

Please add photos of the banjos, front and back, to get some value estimations. For the tranjo, model and wood matters too.

My only advice is to keep location in mind when estimating value. Disregard advice that doesn't acknowledge that you're currently in the UK and will be selling the banjo in a place that isn't the USA. Your banjo is probably worth more in the UK than it is in the US.
