Sometime in the last year someone posted a live video of him performing a song. To the best of my recollection it was a traditional or cover song, he was playing (flat pick?) guitar, and he held a vocal note for a long time at the beginning of the song. I want to say that the long note had to do with a woman's name, but don't know for sure.
Anywho, I can't find it now to save my mortal soul, although I spent way too much time searching both current and archived posts in various ways.
Does anyone know what this might have been?
Thanks.
Here’s one …. notice Billy Failing plays Train 45,, doesn’t bother to go to D tuning for Reuben like Sonny did.

At the beginning of a song I like to hold vocal notes for as long as I can hold my breath when and only when I feel the crowd could do more listening and not so much talking. It goes like this...

Originally posted by BuddurHeard he had a nasty fall the other night and broke his ankle.
Actually broke his tibia and fibula above the ankle.
Had just come off stage from second set, was screwing around with his skateboard before heading out for encore, and missed landing a kick flip.
Good thing he didn't damage his hands/wrists!

Tongue-in-cheek Tom, I doubt our paths will cross, but ^^ sounds like you're issuing a challenge .... one that I could be persuaded to take you up on. ![]()
Interestingly (?) enough, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee were at a BG festival in central FL some years back and the leaders of one of the performing groups encouraged the audience to NOT be quiet ... before, during and afterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
