Who makes "Woody" mastertone style tone rings?

I’ve seen John Boulding’s name mentioned as a maker of (Mastertone style) wood tone rings, Mr Clancy. But I’ve no personal experience to verify that he does. Still, you might check with him.

Deering can put its Grenadillo tone ring in as an option in any of its upper line banjos. I've had a Grenadillo tone ring in my Calico for thirty five years, and it surpasses any metal tone ring, at least in keeping with my tastes and sensibilities about how a banjo should sound.

John doesn't make them but he does have a supplier, and he installs them. I'm very happy with mine.
