Students who want to be music teachers will be the audience.
Mary and I will be doing about 45 minutes of songs from our "SAILS, TRAILS, RAILS, and JAILS" show.
And then, the students will assemble the Wonderful One-Stringed WUNJO, from a disposable bowl, a piece of 1x2, a pre-printed fingerboard plan, toothpicks as frets, and a screw eye for the tuning peg.
Spent 45 minutes this afternoon, drilling and sawing all 50 necks, and then sanding 20 of them.
Sanded JUST ENOUGH skin off my right middle finger to get a little bit of blood on some of the necks.
MAY try sand it off, carefully.
VERY!
Got weary, took a shower, felt better with the sawdust off.

Many years ago my kids were both sick and I stayed home to look for them so we tried to build two toy banjos with two buisquit can, a broomstick and some rubber band… the toy banjos didn’t play so well but we had a great time…
