I tried the ^^ link, but before I could get through the article my screen would go blank and I'd get a "414 Request - URI Too Large." To me it sounds plausible, but I also know that news/misinformation/?? often gets mucho twisted/slanted/etc. by the time it gets to me, so I guess I wouldn't be terribly surprised regardless of what comes out in the wash.
