Seller asking $900, making it an RK-80 for about the price of a used RK-35. As Rick says, sell the Fults and you lower your investment.
Though then you need to buy a replacement.
Trading a 36 for an 80 is a downgrade. Just my opinion. It's the same pot assembly. The 80 has a worse neck. The 80 offers nothing over the 36 other than extra wide binding that will mess up your 2-5 slides on the 5th string, and eventually discolor delaminate and fall apart. It's a known issue with that model.
900+shipping is overpriced for an RK-80 that's been modified to this extent. Does Reverb charge sales tax? That's $1100 by the time you get it, maybe more. An RK-R80 is absolutely not worth $1100. This one has a suede head that, unless you specifically want one for a certain sound, you will end up replacing and it will have no resale value. You could arguably harvest some of the parts, resell them to recoup costs, and possibly make it worthwhile. But it'd largely be a waste of time given all the other options out there, if you're just looking to buy a good players banjo.

The nut issue was addressed and resolved earlier on
The binding does take some getting used to
The RK comes with a frosted remo, and selling the black as well as the ren. Head wouldn’t be a issue for something shipping estimate calculated by reverb was under 90 to me
Tax? That’s a good question
Anyway I know an offer was submitted

Modified to what extent? I looked at the ad again to be sure I didn't miss anything and see no mention of any significant or irreversible modifications.
Has a black suede head, but the seller will throw in the white one if a buyer wants. So a buyer is out the time to change it.
Has a Fults tailpiece, Crowe-spaced bridge and Little Mountain armrest that are all easily replaced. Some people like these things. Selling the Fults for $125 or so can pay for a Presto tailpiece and an acceptable quality Asian armrest.
I'll admit the value of an RK-80 relative to other RK models is subjective.
