Remnds me of the way my poodle sleeps: flat on his back, feet stretched out, completely relaxed. Unfortunately, he sleeps like that across the bed rather than the length of it and that tends to crowd me!
Sherry, is your pooch a proponent of Vastu Shastra? Maybe rotating your bed 90 degrees would benefit both of you??

I doubt that would help. My bed sits north and sound and my recliner east and west and he gets in the same position any time he decides to take a nap. And yes, he crowds me in the recliner, too.

The concept of any dog being on any furniture whatsoever is absolutely beyond me. I love my dogs, but nor that much!

I've had numerous dogs during my lifetime and they have always slept with me. At one time we had 3 and they all ended up in bed with us. They are small dogs, so I don't see a problem. If I'd had big ones..... it probably wouldn't have made a difference.
