I doubt that would help. My bed sits north and sound and my recliner east and west and he gets in the same position any time he decides to take a nap. And yes, he crowds me in the recliner, too.

The concept of any dog being on any furniture whatsoever is absolutely beyond me. I love my dogs, but nor that much!

I've had numerous dogs during my lifetime and they have always slept with me. At one time we had 3 and they all ended up in bed with us. They are small dogs, so I don't see a problem. If I'd had big ones..... it probably wouldn't have made a difference.
