Perhaps the e-mails are going to your spam folder? Have you checked it lately? Otherwise, the seller(s) may be busy, out of town, already have a buyer, a dozen reason why you aren't hearing from them.
There's nothing the Hangout can do to force a seller to answer you.

This not only a problem here but it seems worldwide ! People either don't read there email anymore or they don't have the curtesy to respond. A simple "sold" or "no longer available" would be fine with me. I even have friends and relatives that don't respond to my emails. It almost seems like email is something in the past. It really bothers me when a website has a button that says "Contact" and nobody contacts you back.
A funny commercial a while back...a mother sticks her head out the door and yells to her teenage daughter who is out on the lawn reading on her "pad". Her mother says "get off the computer"...daughter says "what's a computer ?"

Most of my friend who have cell phones don't use e-mail much, they text. Maybe we need to have 2 ways of contacting on the classifieds: e-mail and text. Seller decides which is best for him or her. Still need to have e-mail contact as not everyone has a cell phone or knows how to text.
My kids tried to teach me how to text but I use my landline mostly, so ended up telling them if they wanted to contact me, it was either e-mail or a phone call, up to them.
