Good morning!
Picture #1 would be a nice picture puzzle!
changing the subject in 3-2-1-
Pulled out the racks, to empty the dishwasher, and the dang thing started to tip out.
Back when this house was built, built-in dishwashers were not a standard option, and the countertop was made of Medium Density Fiberboard, which is basically particles of sawdust, held together with some sort of glue.
And, in the few months we've had the dishwasher installed, the warm and humid air rising from the dishwasher had softened the MDF, softer than stale bread, and the 2 little screws that kept it from tipping out, simply had nothing to hold on to.
Was quick and simple to peel the Formica off the front edge of the counter, and pull off about 22 inches of MDF.
Replaced it with oak, held in by Titebond and a half-dozen or so screws.
But the screws are holding the oak to MDF, so maybe that will go to heck in a few more months.
If it does, I'll be sure to whine about it, right here on the OFF TOPIC pages.
Other than that, and sciatica so painful I could hardly walk this morn, things are OK around here.
All y'all have as nice a day as you can.
