I've seen recent asking prices of $5500 to $10000. These may not be selling prices, though.

I believe Ceres Banjo Company had a couple different ones listed in the 12K range. I've seen a couple others listed around 7K. As Tim Mullins said, these may not reflect the actual selling price.

I've watched these prices for years.

In the last year or so, asking prices have blown through the $5000s and $6000s and it's now not uncommon to see ASKING prices in the $7000s and up. I'm talking for really clean specimens.

Yes I've seen $10,000 and higher too but that seems hard to believe.

The age-old question -- how long can this go on?
