Robby can pull the plow with the best of em! His right hand is dialed in and has no problem pulling tone out of the banjo.
Robby is indeed a master .......... and likes old classic cars too!

I saw a video of Robby playing a (I think) 1928 Gibson Grenada archtop while he was playing for the J.D. Music Company. I never cared much for the archtop tone, but that banjo in his hands was the equal of about any flathead I have ever heard. Robby don't have to hang his head in any company!!
He is a wonderful, awesome player. There are numerous super examples thanks to solo and ensemble demos over the years at JDMC, many locatable under the "Jake Stogdill Guitar" YT channel. My personal favorite is this ensemble ride on a Staghorn:
