One of the knob screws on my Cheat-A-keys keeps loosening and the knob drops off. The other knob does not. There is no lock washer under either and I don't think there's supposed to be (?) Has anyone used Lock-Tite in this instance, or is that a "no-no" ? Thanks

Get a bottle of clear nail polish and coat the threads with it before putting the screw in. It works just as well as Loctite for a fraction of the cost. Loctite is $7.98 for an ounce tube at Home Depot. Clear nail polish is $1 for an ounce bottle at Dollar General.

You only need a drop of nail polish to secure the screw. It is not as strong as Loctite but it does work.
