I have several items by them--their mixers have noisy phantom power-as does my tascam recorder and presonus preamp-- however behringer's virtualizer effects unit , does good at other things
anyway I was about to give up on a budget pre amps that could handle things--but I ended up getting their
uphoria 4 channell interface that I only use as a mixer and it makes no noise on the 48 volts and also gets the 2 cheap condensers doing well ---I run that into my tascam and leave and leave that phantom power off

Is the signal noise present in all locations or only at your house/studio?

I have thrown away a lot of old vintage Behringer gear because it gets noisy with age.

Speaking of the Uphoria series...

I'm using the simple 2 channel UMC-202HD , connecting 2 Audix SCX-25A mics to JamKazam.

Every Friday afternoon we're having our on line band rehearsal and it works brilliantly!

We have used the XR-16 mixer and AT 2020s for about 8 years with no problems.
