So...one ..can keep an eye ..
On the other..?
I dunno 'bout ^^, but I think it's widely accepted that real men don't eat quiche.
'Way back, seemingly out of nowhere, I got such severe lower back pain that I could barely walk/move. The doc [a "real" one with "real" credentials] attributed it to me having gotten my kidneys cold .... I gather that's different from a cold in the kidney. The only thing he/we/I/?? could figure was that it could (?) have happened by my hockey pants and sweater not covering that strip of my back while I was on the bench. But, but, but, I wasn't "benched," and it never happened before or since, and I didn't make significant changes, so fwiw, I have my doubts.

Pink eye is pretty common infection. Very treatable, but keep an eye on it!!! LOL
Tickets to see Noam Pikelny !!! He’s in my top 5!!! Ya don’t get that good by just hard work and practice. There’s another factor in there that most don’t have or will ever have no matter how hard ya try!!!

Apparently an "eye cold" is caused by a virus. Until this thread prompted me to look it up https://www.healthline.com/health/eye-cold-conjunctivitis I was unaware there were different causes.
Pinkeye in our cattle was an ongoing summer problem ... more so with dairy than beef.
I think one or two of our kids got it at some time or other [don't recall the cause; not implying any association to the cattle], but some "ointment" from the doc and a bit more caution with hand-eye contact and it was soon enough history.
Edit: Slammer, when I suggest there's other factors in play, the smart (?) guys in these threads tell me oh-nay eh-way, that my laziness and/or stupidity are responsible for where I'm at w.r.t. my "banjo journey" [cough, hack, cough].

Owen ^^^ reminds of a story I heard years ago,,, Bill Monroe’s bus got a flat late at night, back in the hills. He and Peter Rowan got out to change the tire. As Peter was working at it Bill said,”Stop,, d’ya hear that?” Peter stopped and listened to the stillness for a while and replied,”I don’t hear anything, boss.” Monroe sternly says, “ You’re not listening hard enough! And when you hear it, don’t ever forget it!”
(apparently Monroe would hear music out in nature, and figured others could too)
