Does anyone in the UK have a celluloid peg that would match those on my 7 string banjo, that I could buy?
Many thanks, ian.

Hi Mark, thank you for the suggestion.
Steve, I think I have a micrometer somewhere. I wasn't aware that it is a Matthew's banjo. The only marks that I can see are BB and 210 stamped on the back of the perch pole. I will post some pictures later. Also, I will message you again about the flesh hoop and hooks/nuts that I need for the fretless Dallas, that I got from Mike B. I apologise for not following it up, I had been unwell since we last discussed it.
Are they standard (undecorated) pegs? From the small pictures, these ones Mark Ralston sells seem like they might be a match.
I bought some pegs from him and am satisfied. They don't feel glassy smooth like my originals did, due to the different way they are made, but they look the part and work well.

Hi Ian. I'm pretty certain it's a Matthew. Depending on the stamp he used it can sometimes be hard to spot. It should also have a number stamped on the rim on the underside of where the perch pole enters the rim. No need for apologies. I wish you well.
Here are photos Steve. The number 210 is stamped under the perch pole, as you had suggested. I couldn't find the micromter for the 7th string peg (not 5th), so the best I can do with a ruler is 7 mm diameter and 13 mm deep.
I tried and failed to post the photos on the Matthew group.

Looks in very nice condition Ian. 7mm may give us a chance as I may have some narrower gauge peghead tuners which you might be able to shorten to an appropriate length. I'll check and get back to you later.
