Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get any info i can on this banjo my father bought in Mexico in the 80's. I opened the resonator and i know it's a slingerland banjo but that's about it. I would love to find a tuning peg for it a'd get it into playing conditions.

Thanks a lot!

Made by Slingerland, sold under many brands. Without a name on it, a positive ID is unlikely. Is that a decal logo on the peghead? Is there anything stamped into the dowel?

The animal inlays are a later addition.

It as a slingerland and made in USA stamp on the dowel. There definitely was something on the peghead before but i can't really make sense of what it is.

I have many vintage tuning pegs, but to get a good match, remove a peg from the banjo and take a photo. Best to send right to me, as I don't always look at forum threads more than once.

Aend me a personal message and when I reply, you'll have my email address to attach a picture to your reply.
