My husband and I have several banjos between us. I don’t like mine to collect dust so I keep them in a case. Rather large cases, a few Caltons and a Price. However I would really like a way to store them that isnt as stumbling blocks on my living room floor. Does anyone have a woodworking design for a case rack to hold four banjos or so? A commercial source for something like this would be fine as well.
I have a sliding door closet in a spare room that I dedicate to my instruments (all in cases), but I do keep a uke and banjo (which ever ones are my current players) cased in the living room. I've thought about building a rack in the closet, but never have because they all seem to stand up just fine. With one exception, all of my banjos are in black hard shell cases, so I do label them on the end so I don't have to try and remember which banjo is in which case.
That being said, I do have a ukulele, tenor guitar and two banjos scattered around the living room right now!
I have one of these:

Currently it is holding two dreadnought guitars, two banjos, and a mandolin. All in hardshell cases. It would take four banjos in their cases with no problem. The design would be pretty easy to copy. But honestly the price was not bad.

I concur. The String Swing case rack is the way to go!

If all of your banjos fit on 1 couch you obviously don't have enough of them. Here's hoping things will pick up for you
