I need to learn more tag licks. I know about 7 but hear some interesting ones all the time. So I thought Id ask people to post tabs of their favorites or craziest tags. Earls 10th string bends are my latest play things.

Is there a tag list sheet somewhere that has lots of tags already tabbed in one pdf?

I was given a sheet of tags to practice by my buddy, thats how I inow 7 and not 2.

Janet Davis' Backup Banjo has several pages of licks that you can learn and plug in certain places. As I remember, her Up the Neck has some licks for.... up the neck. Somewhere, I have a couple of pages of nothing but hot licks. I'll try to find it, but don't hold your breath waiting as it's been years since I looked at it.

I do have those Davis books and Hatfields, Earls et al. But they all have the same tags...mostly.

I have a couple tags I created. Ill tab them up and share when I get some time.

Here’s one I use if playing a tune out of C position. It’s at the 18second mark in the video. That tab should actually show a triplet at the pulloff on the first string followed by the second string, first fret.
