I was four years old, sitting with my family, on the curb of the main street, in Racine, Wisconsin, waiting for the 4th of July parade to begin.
Suddenly, I heard a terrible noise!
There was a bearded lady in a plaid skirt, chewing the head off a goose (ALSO in a plaid skirt!" and the goose was screaming in agony!!
I leapt into my mother's arms, for protection.
But Mom said
"Be calm my son... That's just a bagpiper, tuning up!"

Good morning everyone!
I just had a look and it appears that our temps will begin to turn around on Thursday.
The snow will slowly melt and we'll get back to normal.
We've got a couple cold nights to get through before that though.
