Anyone else notice the lack of inventory at juststrings.com over the past couple months? Not sure if it's a website glitch or if they just don't have much in stock. The last time I placed an order, they had at least 40-50 options for five string banjo and as of this morning there are 14 options, with nothing from the bigger brands like GHS, D'Addario, Ernie Ball, etc. It looks like their single/ bulk options are really thin as well.

That's interesting. They have bombarded my email with ads for the last several months, but I haven't checked out their inventory because I have enough strings for now. I know that the last time I ordered from them they didn't have one of the sets I wanted in stock. Maybe it's time to get on their website again and see what's going on.

Going out of business? Why? Banjo strings are almost as reliable as morticians. Yes I couldn't get what I wanted from them so I ordered 20 single strings elsewhere 3 weeks ago. Are we in stringagedon? banjered

Juststrings.com has been emailing me 30% off offers on strings, picks, and accessories for the past 2 weeks

I believe they're "closing up shop"

That suggests that the business wasn’t salable,, which I find curious.

For the past few years, I've been buying strings from:  https://www.mapesstrings.com/

Easy to build a custom set of strings and the price is good and the shipping fast.

Plus, Mapes makes most of the wire used by other companies for their strings.

Mapes's website says that they are not currently accepting individual orders.

Thank you kindly.

Thanks for the replies. With the abundance of emails offering discounts and lack of inventory, I was wondering if they were closing up shop. Looks like Strings and Beyond and Strings by Mail both have similar prices and a pretty good selection for those of you looking for a new vendor.
