I'm a great JH fan but I'm not good enough on the 5str to play his banjo pieces so I played on the banjo two tunes he play on other instruments: Austin Minor Sympathy he recorded on fiddle in the Mark Twang album and Presbyterian Guitar from Aereo Plain

Lovely selection of tune very well played, I know JH was also a good frailer I saw once a video with him playing clawhamer....
l often play claw hammer on the five string but in a very simple way, I love this playing style so much....
