Thanks; I was wondering what epoxy you use (just installed one last week with the tuner held in by tension and pressure against one of the hooks
I put mine on a Deering Hartford, and the curls fit right in with the inlay pattern; as if they were made for each other.
I considered a Sterner some years back, but couldn't get past the "frilly stuff" [at the end toward the bridge].
But, like my mammy tried to instill in us: "If everybody thought the same, the world would be an awfully dull place."

Anthony, your comment has me reminiscing. One Sat. a.m. 'way back I dropped in on our school principal ... he was looking after the kids and baking applesauce cookies while his wife was out. After some ammo for me, he demonstrated his technique: "Some rum for the applesauce cookies [a "dash"?]; some rum for Martin [glug, glug]... some rum for the cookies [a "dash"?]; some rum for Martin [glug, glug]."
[RIP, you were one of the good ones.]

You have all the necessities right there on that table, banjo tools, fly tying vise, handheld reloading press...
I have thought about buying a Sterner tailpiece before, but I would get the one without the tuner anchor. To me, it would be awkward to try to tune the fifth string with my right hand while I had picks on. Let us know how it works out when the epoxy is fully set.
