Hello all,
I'm looking for any information I can find about this banjo I bought off facebook. It's a Zither banjo that came with a card about the Windsor company. She's in rough shape but hopefully would make for a good project.
Thanks in advance,
RW
During the British banjo heyday, there were a number of makers all making the same stuff. Windsor and J. Dallas were ones and did make for other 'brands'. Sometimes, as 'Staceyz' has said, ones were stamped with the maker on the side of the heel. Others stamped on the dowel stick. Most of these didn't have serial numbers and if they did, records were not kept. These were churned out in their 100's.
