I found this plastic badge/emblem/sylized letter or whatever in a parking lot. It has been walked over or even run over. It is about 2” or so long, and on the back are two holes for mounting. I would guess it may have been from a vehicle, or motor cycle, or buggy of some sort?
Any ideas? (My googling has failed, unless it belongs to a Hyosung bike?) Brad

Are the holes in the back actually holes, or where "studs" have been broken off?

I'm 100% guessing, but to me it looks like a "whatever*" that might have been on a handbag, or a vest, or a belt or ??? ... attached with a couple of studs.

Edit: * Maybe in conjunction with similar or complementary whatevers to form a pattern??

I should have taken a pic of the back. There is a molded on collar at each end that accepts a screw, or sheetmetal type screw. The plastic piece was painted with fake chrome. Brad

Dang! Can't seem to post the image.

Anyway, caption it

The triangle is very slightly domed. Meaning at the short leg of the triangle is slightly curved, as it to be mounted on a slightly curved surface. I believe the mounted position is, the long direction is up and down, like the delta symbol (or letter A). Brad

I’ve googled automotive emblems and the only one that resembles your Brad is the Lambrougini (sp) less the insides. Could have been off some jacket or a purse or luggage being that you found it in a parking lot.

I found it in a grocery store parking lot that serves mostly lower income folks.  I am not even sure if there is a Lamborghini in town, let alone be in that parking lot.  I would  not drive or park my Lamborghini in the lot...if I had one.  Based on the attachment method on the back, I am of the opinion that it was attached to something hard and curved.  I will check that car out, though. ??.  My little brother led the protest, as a grade schooler, when our local tv station announced that Startrek had been canceled.  At about age 11 he became a local celebrity with live on air interviews and film showing the march and sign he and a small group led in front of the tv station. The little brat became a radiation oncologist.  Brad

Going out a limb here because I see what looks like a center piece of material seems to have broken off.?? Scarf slide cheap one maybe due to the location found? Probably why it was on the ground and no one but Brad was interested.

IMO it’s a stylized letter “O” from a vehicle or ???. If you run across a similar “o,” you’ll have your answer, but I wouldn’t spend time looking.

I do silversmithing and make jewelry. This stylized “retro” looking triangle interested me. I have now used it as a template for a number silver and copper pendents.
I wonder if 5B is on to something. The back looks like it was glued on to or snapped on to another part and maybe a closure of some kind? The inside edge is rough suggesting a cheap object that was a part of a cheap fashion object???
