I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to figure out the last line of the last verse to the Lonesome River Band song titled "The Place Where You Can Bury Me". I've slowed it way down and can only discern:
"on our way back home from ?"
Thanks, KCBanjonut

It's no help with ^^, but apparently there are other places in the song that people need(ed) help with ...   https://www.banjohangout.org/archive/174731

Thanks Owen. Here are the lyrics except for the two words I am asking about in the 3rd Verse...

1st Verse
I wandered far away from the old home
and the simple life I thought I’d never leave.
Just close my eyes and let my memory wander
to the place I’ll always want to be.

CHORUS
I feel the north winds blowin’ through the valley
brings a chill as it bends a red oak tree.
I know the dogwood’s bloomin’ on the hill side
just above the place where you can bury me.

2nd Verse
I miss the conversation on the front porch
talkin’ ‘bout the way things used to be.
Then Uncle John would tune up his old fiddle
and play the sweetest mountain melody.

3rd Verse
I wish I could return to my childhood.
Summer days so long and time was still.
Walkin’ by the creek-side in the moonlight
on our way back home from ???

Alright then.
Several on Facebook had told me that they thought it was HattiesVILLE. And it kind of sounds like that. One of my FB friends in Tucumcari thought it is "Hatties Mill".
I wonder what is the source of what you found OnLine?

I always thought it was Paddies Mill. But pattyysville makes more sense.
Steve, just throw a fancy banjo lick in there and nobody will care about the words! ;)

LOL...This has brought quite the assortment of responses.
Maybe I'll find out who wrote it and see if they know. ??

I’d go with Paddie’s still and don’t look back! :)

I tend to like that one too. Isn't it amazing that those words are so unclear...in a Bluegrass song. Reminds me of so many songs when I was a teenager way back in the 1900's...actually the 1960's to be more exact. Let us not forget Louie Loui.
