A fine Allen Reynolds song, made popular by Crystal Gayle and also recorded and often performed by Doc Watson and Billy Strings. I’m fingerpicking the D-35 here with added vocals.

Kinda, sorta, maybe tangentially connected ?? .... I try to sing/roll "Better Times A-coming."
Thankfully (?), you won't be hearing it unless you come to beautiful west-central Man-ee-toe-bah. And even then you won't get the full nine yards .... I figure there has to be some better words for, "So come on boys, get your gals and kick your heels up higher." so until inspiration strikes, I just "grumble" (?) through that line.
IMNSHumbleO, your rendition ^^ sounds pretty good.
