I'm going to sell it, but I want to know what I'm selling. The neck seems to be solid ebony with ivory(?) fret markers, the 11" pot is beautifully etched, and the heel is nicely carved. I can't find any markings as to the builder. Any help will be much appreciated. Paul

My guess is English maker W. Temlett. I saw a similar banjo at auction recently here in the UK.
